Residents enjoy friends and good laughs every Friday during their ice cream social and karaoke. But their good times aren’t limited to the weekend!
Residents gather around for Happy Hour each Tuesday evening, complete with live entertainment.
They also enjoy going out on the town! Some of their excursions include trips to the casino, visiting the Museum of Natural History, and taking a scenic drive to the beautiful Sandia Mountains.
Aside from the many activities and outings thoughtfully planned by staff, many residents love to mingle during the day. One of the residents, Mr. R U Kidding, is often found making jokes and bringing a smile to everyone’s face.
“You can’t walk by him without having him telling you some kind of story or what he’s experienced,” said Kristin Colozza, Life Enrichment Director at Avamere at Rio Rancho. “We are all delighted to have him here in the community with us!”
